Open Letter to All Friends and Staff of Whitewater Voyages:
Warm Greetings to You!
We appreciate you and the role you play in Whitewater Voyages! We hope your winter is going well and we’re looking forward to sharing another outstanding boating season with you!
An El Nino winter is blanketing the Sierra with an excellent snowpack and promising a long and exciting California rafting season! To take full advantage of this fantastic snow pack and fully book our trips—we really need your help and participation in a number of specific areas:
–Become a fan of the Whitewater Voyages Facebook Fan page—click on the Facebook link at the bottom of the WhitewaterVoyages.com home page. (Note: We’ve had some confusion and currently have multiple Whitewater Voyages Facebook pages. The fan page we want to promote and focus on is www.facebook.com/whitewaterfans This can also be accessed via the “become a fan” button on our website home page.)
–Post pictures, comments, etc. on this Whitewater Voyages Facebook page and tag (i.e. name) the clients and guides in them!
–Post Whitewater Voyages and rafting-related videos on YouTube and similar sites. Be sure to name Whitewater Voyages in each video title and description.
–Post links to the videos on the Whitewater Voyages Facebook fan page—and blog.
–Participate in the Whitewater Voyages blog (www.whitewatervoyagesblog.cowm) — click on the link to our blog at the bottom of our home page. Post comments to the postings currently on the blog. Or, if you want to contribute some postings of current river conditions in your area, or other interesting items please write those up and email them to both bill@whitewatervoyages.com and fun@whitewatervoyages.com. If you want to contribute to the blog on a regular basis, we can also set you up with your own login information to directly post articles. The more we post to the blog on a regular basis, the more people will find it useful. (You will notice the URL of the blog has changed. We are no longer using whitewaterwisdom.com (which you may have bookmarked previously) and we are using instead the domain name shown above: www.whitewatervoyagesblog.com
–Help us spread word in traditional ways as well: Let us know how many rack cards and holders to send you to put in businesses, corporate lunch rooms, etc.
–Tell likely guide candidates about our April 23-25 mini Kern school and our June 20 to 25 American rowing and paddling guide school!
–Let us know—and help us take advantage–of other ways to spread word of our trips via social media, the web, paradigm-shift snail-mail ideas, etc.!
Thanks again for being a part of the Whitewater Voyages family–your participation in our river trips–whether as client or guide, food manager or driver–is deeply, deeply appreciated!!
Looking forward to seeing you in the near future,
Bill, Brian, Sue, Sheri, Wanda, Kay, Jake, Rob, Luke, Mark, Simon
Ready to GO! Yes! Took my boat out on the ocean last week for rowing and checkout and patched it. Still some strap work and cooler hinges to do, but I’ll be ready soon!
Regards,
Fox sends.
