Tuolumne Snowpack Update: As of April 15, the Tuolumne watershed snowpack is 102% of normal. April was 130% of normal for the month. Low elevation snow is above normal. High elevation snow is normal. All reservoirs on the Tuolumne watershed will fill and spill. The exact runoff pattern depends on the weather, of course, but peak high water is expected to occur from late May to mid June, and is likely to peak at about 9,000cfs. Due to flow studies May and June, the folks who control the dams will be creating some mid-week flow spikes, but they plan to make an effort to keep flows boatable, especially on weekends.
